THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA Video For First Single Shot With Short Teaser Online

After taking the world of rock music by storm with last year’s surprise hit Amber Galactic, which also got nominated for a Swedish Grammy in the process, and leaving people speechless after a breath-taking first European tour in November/December, Swedish classic/progressive rock supergroup THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA have completed the works on their impatiently awaited next album, Sometimes The World Ain’t Enough.

The band has just wrapped up shooting the official music video for the first single off the album. A short teaser can be viewed at this location:

The video is expected to drop soon.

Commented the band: “Recording this video was like combining different dimensions in a space cocktail. Numerous times during the video shoot, band members had to call the tax authorities, to confirm their names in the register, to make sure they had not lost all contact with reality. The result is surely mesmerizing and will take you on a journey that will be hard to digest. Enjoy!”

Just like 2017’s Amber Galactic, the album will feature two different cover artworks (see above) for the regular and limited editions.

The album is set for release on June 29, 2018 via Nuclear Blast and will contain 12 brand new songs. The limited first edition digipack CD as well as the vinyl will also feature an exclusive bonus track. The Japanese version will also feature an additional bonus track.

Mixing duties were taken on by the band’s guitarist/percussionist Sebastian Forslund and mastering was done by Thomas ”Plec” Johansson at The Panic Room.

Pre-orders will start soon.

Soon, THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA will descend from their extraterrestrial orbit and take over your hometown. The place you thought you knew will for one very special night become a palace of sin, where the champagne hits you harder, the stakes are higher and all the women are undercover space commanders. And on top of all that, THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA will put on the rock show of the year, guaranteed to blow your mind.

2017’s Amber Galactic was awarded as “album of the month” in various renowned European music magazines such as ROCK HARD (Germany), ROCK HARD (France), SWEDEN ROCK MAGAZINE (Sweden), POWERMETAL.DE (Germany), UNITED ROCK NATIONS (France).

The album also reached high soundcheck positions in other magazines:
METAL HAMMER (Germany): #2
DEAF FOREVER (Germany): #3
AARDSCHOK (Netherlands): #3

When asked about the direction of NFO within the realm of classic rock, Strid explains with a chuckle: “Most other classic rock bands sound like weed or LSD – we sound like cocaine.”

Amber Galactic was recorded at Handsome Hard Studio in Lund, Sweden. The album follows THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA‘s two previous releases, 2012‘s Internal Affairs and 2015‘s Skyline Whispers.
