We knew he could pull it off in such a short amount of time and he did!” Waterman continues, “Sorry that I can’t be there but, I can’t wait to get out there and ROCK with all of you!”

More than happy to help out, Jay Fitzgerald had this to say, “It’s an honor to be filling in for Jay. Not only have I been a fan of the band for years, but, I’m also lucky enough to call them my good friends. It’s been an absolute blast playing with the guys and I can’t wait to get out there and play these shows.”

For nearly a decade, THY WILL BE DONE has combined classic thrash and heavy groove laden riffs with their drive and working-class ideology. The result has been a steady rise in critical and radio acclaim, (most notably the #1 most requested song on SiriusXM’s Liquid Metal for four consecutive weeks) and even garnering the attention of James Hetfield who hand-picked the band to perform at the inaugural Orion Music+More Festival, curated by Metallica.

In December of 2015, THY WILL BE DONE had been working on the follow-up to their acclaimed, Temple EP between tours and one-off performances, when the band’s drummer, Jay Waterman, suffered cardiac arrest amidst tracking the band’s new album, resulting in a compulsory two-year break for the band.

The band would go on to secure a permanent lead guitarist in 2017 and write another new album; abandoning the previous material already tracked and written. THY WILL BE DONE has been holed-up in the studio wrapping the recording of a new full length album to be released via a yet to be determined outlet.

Having been a band for so long, and facing all of the obstacles that come with the terrain, THY WILL BE DONE truly embodies the adage, “where there is a will, there is a way”.
