This past summer BLACK WATER RISING released their sophomore album Pissed and Driven through Metalville/E1. The band is now ready to take the new songs on the road and will be doing so this fall supporting Kill Devil Hill (featuring Rex Brown and Vinny Appice). The tour will also feature Eyes Set to Kill and Girl on Fire on select dates, and is set to kick off on October 26th in Ramona, CA and will wrap up November 23rd in Steger, IL.
Drummer Mike Meselsohn had this to say about the tour with Kill Devil Hill:
“We are beyond psyched to be hitting the road with Kill Devil Hill. This is a great fit for BWR and we are honored to be sharing the stage with Rex, Vinny and the guys. These shows are going to be killer and we look forward to bringing it live every night!”
Before they hit the road with Kill Devil Hill, BLACK WATER RISING will be playing a show this Friday October 18th at Dingbatz in Clifton, NJ with Seven Witches.
Pissed and Driven is available on Amazon or iTunes. The digital versions of Pissed and Driven feature an exclusive bonus track. The album art was created by Jan Yrlund of Darkgrove Design (Manowar, TYR).
Invigorated and eager to capitalize on the success of their debut album, the band’s new material continues to be riff heavy and proudly anchored in the foundations of traditional hard rock and metal song writing with hooks and catchy choruses to pull you in and leave you wanting more.
