BOBBY BLITZ of OVERKILL to ROCK AGAINST DYSTROPHY
About a month ago the New York based fundraising group ROCK AGAINST DYSTROPHY announced that their July 19th event taking place at CROSSROADS in Garwood, NJ would feature New Jersey bands A NEED FOR REASON and LORDS OF MERCY as well as Mark Tornillo and David DiPietro of TT QUICK with Special Guests with the night hosted by TattooTony and artwork being done live by Joey James, who has designed artwork for OTEP, BUTCHER BABIES, and more.
Up until now ROCK AGAINST DYSTROPHY had not revealed any of the special guests.
However OVERKILL announced through their Facebook that their frontman Bobby Blitz is one of the special guests.
ROCK AGAINST DYSTROPHY quickly confirmed this on the Facebook event page.
It was also announced that the host of the event TattooTony will have a film crew with him doing filming for his upcoming TV show TATTOO RV.
ROCK AGAINST DYSTROPHY was started in 2009 by Turbo and Jay Scorpion of Internet radio fame to raise awareness about Muscular Dystrophy and proceeds from their events go to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Both Turbo and Jay Scorpion have Spinal Muscular Atrophy which falls under the same neuromuscular category as Muscular Dystrophy.
