Italian Heavy metallers CIRCLE OF WITCHES (aka CoW) will go on stage tomorrow, on June 16th, at METAL FRENZY FESTIVAL in Germany, along with DARK TRANQUILLITY and DECAPITATED!
CIRCLE OF WITCHES, stepping for the first time on German ground, was about the first band answering to management’s recall more than a year ago.
The festival reached its third edition set in the city of GARDELEGEN, in the heart of Germany. During its brief history, it counts several high level headliner such as EXODUS, DYING FETUS, MADBALL, VADER, SIX FEET UNDER, GOD DETHRONED, CALIBAN, GRAVE DIGGER, main attractions of past editions. This year is time for OVERKILL, NAPALM DEATH, SODOM, PRIMAL FEAR and the other to rise the enthusiasm of metalheads.
CIRCLE OF WITCHES have prepared a setlist for the occasion, with a selection of songs taken from “Rock the Evil” album and from the upcoming one, to fill their show of heavy metal for German fans.
“We are firmly linked to Germany on the musical side”, said Mario Bove, frontman of the band, “because some of our favorite acts are band like KREATOR, DESTRUCTION, ACCEPT or BLIND GUARDIAN, but above all”, he added “because we had our baptism of fire on huge stages by opening DORO and UDO’s Russian gigs last year. German public is well known”, he concluded “for being demanding and learned about metal performances. This excites us much more.”.
