Hailed by Aquarian Weekly as “easily the best rock band in New York City”, TEN TON MOJO is a band on the rise. Hip shaking rhythms blend hard rock, soulful blues and southern charm to create the “new” classic rock.
The band recently released their brand new single and music video, “American Honey”. You can watch the music video, directed by guitarist Gabe Mera and edited by Orlando Ferreyra (with additional live and outdoor footage by FTO Media, John Valenti and Joe Cutraer), here:
TEN TON MOJO states, “‘American Honey’ is a new classic rock anthem! It was not written as a social commentary on the political landscape, but rather as a rallying battle cry for those who live to rock!”
In addition to their recent attention from “American Honey” – which you can buy as a standalone single via Amazon, iTunes or Bandcamp – TEN TON MOJO has received great response from their singles from their previous self-titled album. Their other major single, “Pinball Girl”, is prominently featured in the indie movie Pinball Donut Girl. A remixed version of their track “One and Only” is being featured in Suzuki’s new ATV ad campaign. You can grab the self-titled release via Amazon, iTunes or Bandcamp, as well.
In the wake of their self-titled album, TEN TON MOJO has provided live support for The Supersuckers, The Dirty Pearls, The Compulsions, Jesse Malin, John 5, Smash Fashion, the late Scott Weiland and others. TEN TON MOJO has a street wise guitar driven sound crafted by guitarists Scott Lano and Gabe Mera, which then gets carried home by the whiskey soaked vocals of Ernie Papp. Backed by thundering rhythm section of Paul Kane on drums and Chris Laubis on bass, TEN TON MOJO is the rebirth of real American rock and roll!
