Voted Best Metal Band for four years running (Austin Music Awards, 2012-2016), DEAD EARTH POLITICS continue to prove their longevity and power. Having received many accolades on their previous album, the band’s relentless work ethic will be made even further evident upon release of their upcoming EP. The EP is scheduled for release later this summer.
In support of their forthcoming EP, DEAD EARTH POLITICS will hit the road this summer. The tour kicks off July 29th in Lake Charles, LA and runs through August 13th winding up at the band’s hometown haunt The Dirty Dog Bar in Austin, TX.
“I am really excited to finally venture out on our first full tour since road to GWAR B-Q in 2015. I’m stoked to be visiting old friends in places we love visiting and meeting new friends in new cities,” says front man Ven Scott.
Forged from the soul of the Austin metal scene, DEAD EARTH POLITICS is a blade that cuts like no other. Said to fit easily on any bill ranging from Iron Maiden to Black Sabbath to Lamb of God, they are the band that truly unites sub-genres.
