Ever since the Super Bowl ended, Lady Gaga was the talk of the music world. Then you announce that Metallica was going to have Lady Gaga join their performance at the 59th GRAMMYs and it became a story like no other.
Well all that hype wasn’t enough. While it LOOKED like a great performance and proof that Lady Gaga IS a metal head, it also proved that the GRAMMYs don’t want metal at their show as James Hetfield‘s mic was NEVER turned on. Here it is if you missed it.

Again the performance showed Lady Gaga can rock (maybe she’ll finally do a metal album) but it also showed that the GRAMMYs really don’t want metal or real rock on their show. Which is fine by me, they need us more then we need them.
Now we wait for tomorrow where it’ll most likely be announced that Metallica and Avenged Sevenfold will be touring together this summer.
