NAPALM RECORDS BREAKS THE TOP 10 WITH OTEP’S GENERATION DOOM

asRoD4Q
Napalm Records breaks into the Top 10 this week with GENERATION DOOM, the new album from OTEP one of music’s most outspoken and thought provoking artists today. The album debuts at #10 on the Independent Chart, #7 on the Rock Chart and #109 on the Top 200 Albums Chart, with 6,185 units sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

This highly anticipated seventh studio release and first new recording from OTEP since 2013’s “Hydra” has been met with critical acclaim worldwide.  This included an exclusive song premiere with AfterEllen.com, a multi-media platform that focuses on the portrayal of lesbian and bisexual women in the media, an in-depth interview and full album stream with Billboard and the new single “In Cold Blood” that is climbing up the Active Rock Radio Charts!  Watch the video for the song HERE.

In support of the new album, OTEP has announced The “GENERATION DOOM” Tour.  The tour features support from Lacey Sturm (Ex-Flyleaf), September Mourning, Through Fire and Doll Skin.  The tour is underway right now and runs through May 28th in Los Angeles, CA.  A complete list of dates can be found below.

Formed from the poetic marrow of creative intercourse, OTEP is more than a band. OTEP is an Art Movement, a Revolution; Breaking ground. Breaking rules. Breaking barriers. Articulate. Aggressive. Pure Adrenaline. ARTcore of Heavy Mental Rock.”  This is how mastermind/vocalist OTEP Shamaya and her band have been described and this album proves this truth!

Transcending from the darkness, like wolves into the light, OTEP is an explosion of inspiration and motivation, empowered by their dedication to the arts, being a voice for the voiceless, and fighting injustice. Rising from the labyrinth of Los Angeles, California, OTEP is unleashing a roaring anthem: GENERATION DOOM.
