POWERMAN 5000 and AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE have just completed the first week of shows on a three week tour that was also to feature WAYNE STATIC. Both bands felt the best way to deal with the loss of their friend was to play their music for fans around the country, allowing the bands and Wayne’s fans to have a time for remembrance and celebration. The Atlanta stop of the tour on Nov 21st will also feature Ashes and Bevan from Wayne’s band playing a tribute set.

“The decision to go on with the tour was the right one. We are a band and bands play shows. That’s our life blood” says Spider from POWERMAN 5000. “From what I can tell the fans appreciate and are grateful that we held it together and kept it going. There has definitely been some confusion as to whether or not the tour is still rolling. Make no mistake the show indeed goes on!!”

AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE guitarist Ted Hallows comments, “The tour with Powerman 5000 has been great so far. I’m glad that both bands decided to continue on with it. And it’s very cool to see all the Wayne Static fans still coming out to the shows. We feel that getting out and playing is best thing we can do right now in honor of Wayne.”
