Last week saw the release of the highly anticipated self-titled 4th full-length album from Boston Metallers REVOCATION. The numbers are in for the first week and REVOCATION has cracked the Billboard Top 200 Chart for the first time. The band came in at #158 on the Top 200 shifting just over 2600 copies. The album also came in at #4 on the Heatseekers Chart, #15 on the Hard Music Chart, #42 on the Independent Album Chart and #43 on the Rock Chart.
Frontman Dave Davidson commented on cracking the Billboard Charts:
“When I got the call today that we cracked into the billboard chart for the first time I was beyond stoked. We would like to sincerely thank all of our fans that picked up the record, you guys rule!!!”

The band recently completed work on a video for “Invidious”. The video was shot by David Brodsky (Municipal Waste, Whitechapel, Kylesa) at a sold out hometown show. The video will receive its premiere in the coming weeks.
REVOCATION are taking part in this year’s Summer Slaughter Tour, alongside the likes of Dillinger Escape Plan, Cattle Decapitation and others. In addition to the Summer Slaughter dates, the band has announced a handful of headline shows immediately following the tour. All dates are listed below.
Following the Summer Slaughter, REVOCATION will head to Europe this fall on tour with The Black Dahlia Murder and Aborted. The tour kicks off September 18th and runs through October 10th. A complete list of dates can be found below.
