Tank have issued a band statement ahead of their forthcoming ‘War Machine’ Tour which kicks off in Middlesbrough in just two weeks and takes in ten different countries.
The statement reads as follows;
“We are now just two weeks away from the start of the ‘War Machine’ Tour and the adrenalin is pumping in the War Office as we prepare to lay siege to Europe.
The band are fired up and ready to go and about to deliver a live set that will blow you all away.
Chris Dale “I can’t wait to get to grips with the ‘War Machine’ album tracks live. This will be our first chance to show the world the album in concert.”
And we’re going to document the tour on this site in real time so you can follow us around Europe as ‘War Machine’ makes its way through the continent. Stand by for the launch of this site’s Tour Section next week.
This live set will include many classic Tank anthems as well as several tracks from our acclaimed ‘War Machine’ album (Metal Mind Productions).
Mark Cross “Looking forward to seeing you all on tour! It’s another great challenge being part of a great band like Tank!”
After our two shows in Middlesbrough and Newcastle, England on 5th and 6th August, we travel to Poland to play the Metal Hammer festival with Judas Priest at the Spodek.
Then it’s Scandinavia for appearances in Norway and Sweden…
Mick Tucker “Tank is coming to get Europe and we’re going to kick ass like you wouldn’t believe. We just want to get out there and do it now!”
Trurock Open Air in Germany beckons and we’re expecting a mass Tank Army to show for that one, then we go west for dates in Portugal and Spain.
Then it’s over to Holland and Belgium which are bound to be high octane shows and then it’s The Baltic Sea for Rock At Sea…
Doogie White “The best thing about writing and recording an album is when you get to take it out on the road and get reaction to the live shows. That time is now upon us my friends. Come and be part of the mayhem.”
We can’t to see the Tank Infantry on the road. It’s been a long time but Tank are back on the road now and that is where we are going to stay.
We’re hoping to meet as many of you as we can at our gigs as it was demand from the Tank fans that made this tour happen. We salute you.
Cliff Evans “I can’t wait to get back out on the road, see some old friends, make some new ones and unleash this great new line-up that’s gonna kick some serious Metal ass. The War Machine is coming!”
