TESTAMENT ANNOUNCES HEADLINING TOUR WITH EXODUS

Digging deep into the early discography that launched a worldwide career spanning two-and-a-half decades, battle-scarred ambassadors of Bay Area thrash TESTAMENT will be performing an exclusive headlining set comprised of select tracks from their first three albums: 1987’s debut The Legacy, 1988’s The New Order, and 1989’s Practice What You Preach

Adding gasoline & road flares to the live pandemonium with direct support will be none other than mastery gunnery sergeants of thrash metal EXODUS.  Opening every show will be Texan metal cowboys SHATTERED SUN.
Launching their seventeen-date trek on April 1st with a hometown show in San Francisco that’s sure to register on the Richter scale, the “Dark Roots of Thrash II” tour will hit fifteen additional U.S. cities plus Toronto, Canada, wrapping up in Georgia’s capital city of Atlanta on April 23rd.

In 2012, TESTAMENT‘s Dark Roots Of Earth debuted at #12 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, #1 on the Independent Albums chart, and #1 on the Top Hard Music Albums chart with the band’shighest first week sales since the inception of Soundscan.
