VOODOO TERROR TRIBE will release their third full-length offering, entitled
The Sun Shining Cold, on November 11, 2016. Produced by
Ill Niño vocalist Cristian Machado, the 10-track album delivers in-your-face hard rock anthems, soaring ballads and alt-metal scorchers, all individually unique and dynamic in their delivery.
The Sun Shining Cold is available for pre-order now via
Bandcamp.
Guitarist Emir Erkal describes the rig and guitar he used on “No Hell Like Home” to Music Radar: “The guitar I used in this video (which I also used on the recording of some clean guitar parts on this new album) is a real vintage beauty. Original ESP 400 Series Strat from the mid 80’s with a classic “V” neck featuring a maple board with 22 frets, which was set up and modified with amazing Seymour Duncan Hot Rails pick up on the bridge by my great friend and musician Roger Manzo, and it was custom painted into a white finish with blood splatter by my brother and our bass player Primer. And the perfection was completed by beautiful DR Red Devils Strings. A truly fine guitar that has the tone, feel and the look…”
Last week’s featured guitar playthrough video for the track “Cell”, which originally premiered via Gear Gods and has already racked up over 11,000 views, is viewable here:
This past summer, the band revealed their
“City of Sixes” music video – directed by Scott Hansen (
Motionless in White, A Day To Remember, We Came As Romans) and tallying over 130,000 views as of this month.
