“When we initially released the song back in early 2015, it was the song that broke us away from the pop/punk genre that so many people wrapped us into. While, yea thats fun, this songs really showed us that we have so much more potential as musicians and writers. Shake was the songs that changed our direction for the better. We love this song. The reason why we are re-releasing it is because its still the number one song that defines who we are as a band. It’s the best way to start us down this new road we have planned for 2016”– John Whittlinger, Vocalist of City Under Siege.
The visually beautiful lyric video was created by Derek LaFountain at Prominence Foundation. LaFountain did a marvelous job capturing the theme of the song in visual artwork. Yes, “Shake” is just a simple party anthem, but no matter where you are, or what your doing, whenever you watch the video or hear the song, you’ll begin to dance, It’s inevitable.
